Affections of Love created by a Jordan Shifman
Mike was a great guy. We went all through high school and he and I became very close by the end of the year.

He had a gorgeous smile which forced everyone else around him to smile as well. When you say someone is a nice guy, Mike always overturned that - what do I mean? Mike was beyond nice, he was the type of kid who you can pour ur heart out to, or just tell a story too and he was there for you even if he was your best friend or did not know you at all.

There is something about Mike that will always be missed, but who he was will never be forgotten. Everything happens for a reason = we obviously do not know why, but this was his time. A smart, charismatic, handsome, young man died. His body is now empty, but his soul is up in heaven looking down on everyone of us.

The past few nights I couldn’t sleep. All you can think about is: my friend died. But I walked outside this morning and the sun was shinning and I started laughing, I was happy...the reason for this is because the sun will always be brighter now because his smile brightens the world. Mike Greene will always be missed, always loved, and always a huge part in everyone’s life even if he had only touched them for a moment.

I am so sorry - Rip - I love you

Jordan Shifman
